LENTIL STEW 
1 c. dried lentils
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, diced
Pinch of dill weed
1 tsp. butter
1 qt. water
2 or 3 ripe tomatoes
Blended vegetables
Seasoning

Put the lentils and onions and peppers in a pot of boiling water. Put to simmer 30 minutes. They are done when they mash easy with a fork. Then add the tomatoes, dill weed and butter. Garnish with Parmesan cheese. Serves 4.
