1 pkg. Lipton Microwave Easy Family Favorites hearty beef stew
1 1/2 boneless chuck, cut into thin strips
1 med. red or green pepper, trimmed, seeded and cut into thin strips
2 c. sliced mushrooms, fresh or canned and drained
3 tbsp. dark brown sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Prepare hearty beef stew mix according to package directions, except decrease water to 2 1/4 cups, substitute boneless chuck for stew meat and add remaining ingredients to cooking bag. Continue preparation according to package directions. Serve over hot, cooked rice; garnish with sliced green onions. Serves 4.
