RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats
2 c. Rice Krispies

Blend together shortening, sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Combine dry ingredients and add to above. Stir in quick oats and Rice Krispies. Drop on sheet in form of ball and press. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes approximately 7 dozen.
