STRAWBERRY SALAD 
LAYER 1:

2 c. crushed pretzels
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted

Mix and press into 9"x13" baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

LAYER 2:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 lg. Cool Whip

Mix above and spread on top of pretzels.

LAYER 3:

2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. strawberries
1 lg. strawberry Jello

Mix and let partially congeal, stir and pour on cream cheese mixture. Chill. Cut into squares and serve with lettuce if desired.
