5 or 6 slices of bread
Food coloring
Vanilla or strawberry extract (flavoring)
Sugar
Butter
Milk
Honey
Child's paint brush
Sm. bathroom size paper cups

Mix 1 teaspoon milk and 1 teaspoon flavoring and 2 drops of food coloring in a small paper cup. Any flavoring can be used and any color of food coloring can be used. Make 3 or 4 different colors for child to use, give child 1 piece of bread and then let them paint silly faces on bread. Wipe paint brush on paper towel before changing colors. Then toast bread as usual. This takes a little time; but our children are "worth it". Butter toast and sprinkle on sugar or drip honey on top when toasted.
