POLISH MASHED POTATOES 
1 lb. potatoes
1/2 lb. salt pork
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 stick butter
Milk, for smooth whip, 1/2 - 1 c.

1. Peel and dice potatoes. Boil until tender. Drain. Mash potatoes. Add butter and milk. Then whip smooth.

2. Remove skin from salt pork. Dice and fry until golden brown. Drain fat.

3. Add fried salt pork to mash potatoes. Mix thoroughly.

4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
