EASY BAKE CHICKEN 
Spread 1 cup regular rice over the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 to 1 envelope dry onion soup mix (adjust according to your taste) evenly over rice. Cut up 1 whole chicken and press, skin side up, over onion mix. Salt lightly. Spoon 1 can cream of mushroom soup on chicken. Add 2 to 2 1/2 cans water. Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
