TENNESSEE CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 sm. head (approximately 1 lb.) white cabbage
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can celery soup, undiluted
8-9 Ritz crackers, crumbled

Slice the cabbage very thin, put in frying pan with water, salt and pepper, and butter. Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat and steam for 10 minutes. Layer alternately with spoonsful of the celery soup in a casserole dish. Cover top with crushed crackers and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
