AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 to 1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles

Brown ground beef; season. When partially done, add water, onion, celery, and green pepper. Cook until done. Pour off remaining juice and add to mushroom soup; mix well.

Combine soup with beef and vegetables. Place in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle top with chow mein noodles. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
