MAPLE SYRUP MUFFINS 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. maple syrup

Beat egg until light. Add milk and the flour sifted with baking powder and salt. Add the maple syrup and the melted butter. Pour into well-greased muffin tins 23/ full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
