BLACK WALNUT COCONUT BARS 
Filling:

2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. black walnuts
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add coconut and black walnuts. Mix well. In another bowl, beat eggs until fluffy, add brown sugar and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Mix the two mixtures together and pour into crust.

Bake 20 minutes at 375°F. Cut while still warm.

Makes about 25 pieces.

Crust:

Cream butter and brown sugar and add flour. Mix well and pour in a greased 9 x 9 inch pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375°F.
