2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. butter or 1 stick melted butter
1 tsp. salt and pepper
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. grated onions
2 c. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled or bacon bits

Mix all ingredients in greased casserole.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to an hour. (Usually little longer than an hour.) Add bacon bits last 15 minutes.
