JELLIED WALDORF SALAD 
1 pkg. lemon or lime gelatin
1 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
2 tsp. vinegar
1 c. diced unpeeled red apples
1/4 c. walnuts and 1/4 c. pecans
3/4 c. diced celery seasoned with a dash of salt

Dissolve gelatin in hot water; add cold water and vinegar. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in apples, nuts, and celery. Chill until firm and serve on lettuce leaves with small dash of mayonnaise.
