AUNT OLGA'S RHUBARB CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. baking soda 2 to 2 1/2 c. chopped rhubarb 1/3 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sour milk 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Cream sugars and butter. Add egg. Combine soda, vanilla, and milk. Add with dry ingredients. Add rhubarb. Pour into 13x9 greased pan. TOPPING: Combine 1/3 cup sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
