2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. mace
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
6 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. raisins
4 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture. Add raisins and stir until mixed is blended. Turn into greased 9 inch round pan, spreading evenly. Brush top with melted butter.

Mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon for topping and sift over dough. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cut in wedges.
