GREEN PEPPER JELLY | |
3 lg. green peppers 6 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1 bottle Certo 1 tsp. cayenne pepper Green food coloring Remove seeds from peppers, place in blender. Process in blender until pureed. Combine pepper puree, vinegar and sugar in large saucepan, bring to rolling boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Add Certo, cayenne pepper and a few drops food coloring, stir well and cool. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal. Makes 3 to 4 pints. |
