PEANUT CHEWIES | |
1 c. white corn syrup 1 c. peanut butter, creamy or chunky 1 c. butterscotch chips 1 c. sugar 6 c. Rice Krispies 1 c. chocolate chips Cook corn syrup, sugar, and peanut butter in large pan until sugar is dissolved. Stirring constantly, add Rice Krispies. Stir until Krispies are coated. Pour onto wax paper on a greased cookie sheet. Pat flat until about 1/2 inch thick. Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips over very low heat. Mix and spread thinly over top of cookies. Cut cookies into small pieces immediately. |
