1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. shortening
2 c. flour
Confectioners' sugar
9 doz. walnut halves, cherries, dates, etc.

Mix cheese and shortening with a fork. Mix flour in with hands. Chill several hours. Roll 1/8 inch thick on board. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut dough in 3 x 1 inch strips. Roll up with fruit inside. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-18 minutes.
