THREE MONTH MUFFINS (HEALTH MUFFINS) | |
2 c. oatmeal (quick) 2 c. shredded wheat, crushed 1 c. boiling water 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1 qt. buttermilk 5 c. flour, mixed with 5 tsp. baking soda & 1 tsp. salt 2 c. All Bran 1 c. vegetable oil 1 lb. brown sugar Pour water over cereal. Add ingredients in their order. Raisins, chopped dates, chopped nuts may be added if desired. Bake 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Store batter in plastic container in refrigerator and use as wanted. Baked muffins can be frozen. |
