BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. wheat bran
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1 c. honey
2 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. wheat germ
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal

Pour boiling water over wheat bran; set aside. Mix eggs, honey, milk and oil. Stir together whole wheat flour, wheat germ, baking soda, salt and oatmeal. Add dry ingredients to wet, mixing thoroughly, then fold in bran. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
