DADDY'S FAVORITE FUDGE | |
4 tbsp. cocoa 3 1/3 c. (20 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 c. marshmallow creme (7 oz. jar) 1 c. finely chopped walnuts or pecans 4 c. sugar 4 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk (12 oz. can) 2 tbsp. dark rum or 1 tbsp. rum extract 1 c. plain peanut butter Place chips, marshmallow creme and nuts in a large mixing bowl; set aside. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Heat slowly to boil; stir constantly. Simmer for about 6 minutes. Pour sugar mix over chocolate mix, add cocoa, rum and peanut butter, stirring vigorously until mixture has melted and it is smooth and well blended. Pour into greased 13"x9" pan. Smooth out top of mixture. Let cool until firm. Cut into small squares (very rich). 8 dozen squares. Store in refrigerator or freezer. |
