WHEAT GERM BREAD 
3 c. milk
7/8 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 stick butter, soft
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. lukewarm water
6 c. flour
1 1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. flour (for kneading)

Bring the following to a boil: milk, 7/8 cup sugar, salt and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Mix yeast, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and lukewarm water in a glass. Set aside.

Mix flour and wheat germ - make a nest and add all the liquids and stir. Let sit 20 minutes. Use an additional cup of flour and knead bread 8-10 minutes. Let rise until double. Punch down, make into rolls (or loaves). Let rise again. Bake rolls at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
