RAW APPLE APLETS 
1/2 c. finely grated apples
2 pkgs. unflavored gelatin
3/4 c. grated apples
1 tsp. lemon juice or vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Sprinkle gelatin on 1/2 cup grated apples. Mix and let stand for 10 minutes.

In small pan, mix 3/4 cup grated apples, lemon juice and sugar. Stir well and bring to a boil. Add gelatin-apple mixture. Cook slowly 15 minutes. Cool, add vanilla and nuts. Turn into 8 inch square, buttered glass dish and refrigerate 24 hours. Roll in powdered sugar.
