1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Melt the butter and milk, add sugar, eggs and then the rest of the ingredients. Put into a greased and floured 6 x 10 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

5 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. cream
1/2 c. coconut

Combine the above over low heat. Cook for 2 minutes. As soon as cake comes out of oven spread with the frosting and then put back in oven until coconut is brown.
