CHOCOLATE CARAMEL SQUARES 
1 box German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. pecans or walnuts
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 pkg. Kraft caramels

Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine caramels and 1/3 cup milk and melt over low heat. Keep warm. Combine cake mix, butter, nuts and 1/3 cup milk; mix well. Divide in half, press into pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Add chocolate chips and spread until melted. Pour caramel mixture over top. Drop the remaining dough in small chunks on top. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Cool, cut into squares and enjoy.
