CHOCOLATE-CARAMEL SQUARES 
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Melt caramels with milk in double boiler; set aside. Blend cake mix, milk, and butter in mixer. Stir in chopped nuts. Press half of mixture into 9x13 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and top with 1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips.
