AUNT KATHERINE'S SCALLOPED POTATOES | |
1 1/2 qt. casserole dish 4 c. potatoes, sliced 1/8 thick 2 lg. onions, sliced 1/8 inch thick 1 or 2 lg. green peppers, cut up Boil potatoes and onions 5 minutes in lightly salted water, until partially cooked, drain and set aside. In greased bowl layer potatoes, onions and sliced raw pepper. Cover with Cheddar cheese sauce, another layer of potatoes, etc., ending with sauce. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour until very bubbly. Sauce recipe in sauce section. |
