ORANGE BISCUITS 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. grated orange rind
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
3-4 tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk (about)

Combine and cook butter, orange juice, sugar and grated orange rind. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and cut in the shortening. Add enough milk to form soft dough. Knead 1/2 minute. Roll 1/4 inch thick and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; roll as for jelly roll. Slice 1 inch thick.
