STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
2 unbeaten egg whites
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. sugar

Mix first 3 ingredients, adding sugar gradually until thick - about 15 minutes. Fold in 1 pint Cool Whip. Pour into crust; cover. Put in freezer. Keep frozen. Remove when ready to use.

CRUST:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. flour
1/2 to 1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix. Press in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Let cool. You may use crumbs of crust to sprinkle on top of dessert.
