FRENCH FRIED ONIONS 
2 lg. onions
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs
2/3 c. milk
Pinch salt

Peel onions and slice in bowl of milk, let stand 15 minutes, drain, dry with towel. Beat eggs, add salt, butter, milk and flour. Make smooth batter. Fold in onion. Drop in deep hot fat.
