Strawberry and Cream Dessert - Recipe

STRAWBERRY AND CREAM DESSERT

Mix:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar

Press into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Mix:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. Cool Whip

Spread over cool crust and refrigerate. Prepare:

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello

Prepare Jello using 2 cups boiling water, 1 cup cold water and 4 ice cubes. Add:

2 qts. cleaned and sliced strawberries

Pour this over cream cheese layer and put back in refrigerator until set.
