BLACKEYED PEA DIP 
2 c. cooked black-eyed peas
1 stick butter, melted
1 jalapeno pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
1 garlic pod
4 oz. grated cheddar cheese
3/4 to 1 c. milk

Mix first 6 ingredients in blender and pour in saucepan. Add cheese and milk as needed for consistency. Stir over heat until cheese melts. Serve hot or cold.
