APPLESAUCE MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. catsup
1/4 c. water

Gently form in small balls 1 1/2 inch. Brown in hot fat. Place in baking dish and pour over them a mixture of catsup and water. Cover. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve hot.
