SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. onion, minced in butter
1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup

Combine meat, celery, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and onions. Shape in oval 1 inch thick. Brown on both sides in butter in skillet. Combine soup and water. Pour over meat and slowly cook, covered, for 25 minutes.
