REUBEN MEATLOAF 
3 slices rye bread with caraway seeds
1/3 c. milk
1 egg
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 med. can sauerkraut
8 oz. sliced Swiss cheese

Pinch up bread and pour milk over crumbs. Add egg, hamburger, and garlic salt to bread. Mix well. Put 1/2 of mixture in loaf pan. Cover with 1/2 can of sauerkraut and layer of Swiss cheese. Repeat, except for cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for an hour. Remove foil; put remaining cheese on top and brown 10 to 15 minutes.
