TOMATO SAUCE 
Wash tomatoes, core and cut into chunks into large pot. Add 1/2 cup water so that tomatoes won't burn. When tomatoes start to boil turn flame to simmer and cook 30 minutes. After cooking 30 minutes put 3 1/2-4 cups tomatoes in blender. Hold lid on tightly and blend for 5 seconds, only. Pour into plastic containers or freezer bags. Put in freezer.

Note: Add spices, garlic, onion or whatever and cook with tomatoes to add extra flavor. Can use as many or as few tomatoes as you have. This will thicken as you cook. Use for spaghetti sauce, chicken cacciatore, etc.
