FESTIVE STRAWBERRY CAKE 
1 box prepared white cake mix
1 tbsp. plain flour
1 pkg. lg. strawberry Jello
3/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. frozen strawberries
4 eggs

STRAWBERRY ICING:

1/4 lb. butter
1 (16 oz.) powdered sugar
1/2 c. frozen strawberries

Sprinkle flour over white cake mix. Add Jello, salad oil, water and 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, thawed to mushy stage. Mix thoroughly with electric beater, add 1 egg at a time until all 4 eggs have been added.

Divide batter into two 9 inch cake pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Ice with Strawberry Icing.

Strawberry Icing: Soften butter and gradually add powdered sugar, then the frozen strawberries (thawed). Be careful not to add too many berries, it may not take the full half cup. Blend and spread over cake. Serves 12-16.
