CHOCOLATE NUT CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 4 sq. bitter sweet chocolate 1 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped nuts 2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. vanilla FROSTING: 1 lb. powdered sugar 1/4 lb. butter 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 egg, beaten 2 sq. melted chocolate or 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts CAKE: Mix all cake ingredients together. Pour into two 9 inch pans and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan. |
