CHERRY CHEESE CAKE PIE 
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Have cream cheese at room temperature. Cream cheese and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth. Bake in an 8 inch or 9 inch pie plate, lightly buttered, at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.

While pie is cooling, mix 1/2 pint of sour cream with 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over top and return to oven for 5 minutes. Top completely cooled pie with cherry filling.

You may substitute other toppings in place of the cherry topping.
