4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. raisins
1 tbsp. caraway seeds

Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and soda together; add eggs and mix. Then add buttermilk and raisins; mix and add in caraway seeds if desired. Bake 1 1/4 hours in 350 degree oven.
