SPINACH OR BROCCOLI DIP 
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 can water chestnuts
1 pkg. fresh spinach or broccoli
1 box vegetable soup mix

Drain and chop water chestnuts. Cook, drain, chop and cool spinach or broccoli. Mix all ingredients together. Use as a dip or hollow out a loaf of French bread and fill with dip. Slice and serve. If vegetable soup mix has noodles, allow time for noodles to soften (overnight). Makes a large bowl.
