GRAMMA'S HOT DOG RELISH 
18 green tomatoes
6 lg. onions
8 lg. cucumbers
1 stalk celery
1 hot red pepper
3 sweet red peppers
3 sweet green peppers

Grind and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons salt (not iodized salt); let stand overnight. Drain well, but don't rinse. Use your electric meat grinder with vegetables. Cut in small chunks.

Add: 1 tsp. turmeric 1 qt. vinegar 1 tsp. celery seed

Simmer 30 minutes and stir up from bottom to prevent scorching often. Mix 1/2 cup flour with water to make paste and add to above and simmer and stir 10 minutes. Put into jars and seal while hot. Process for about 15 or 20 minutes in hot water bath.
