FRUIT PIZZA | |
1 lg. roll Pillsbury sugar cookie dough 8 oz. soft cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Fresh fruit, sliced (grapes, strawberries, kiwi, bananas, blueberries, raspberries) 1/2 c. orange marmalade 2 tbsp. water Chill dough and slice into 1/8" slices. Pat down to cover bottom of pizza pan or cookie sheet with a little edge. Bake at 375 degrees until light brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Combine cream cheese with sugar and vanilla. Spread on cooled cookie crust. Arrange fruit on top. You can get creative here! Leave spaces for banana slices to be added just before serving. (1 banana yields approximately 20 slices, about right.) Make a glaze of marmalade and water and spoon over the fruit just before serving. Cut into wedges or squares. HINT: Use your best looking cookie sheet, remember, you'll be serving on it. This is an easy and attractive dessert for showers and picnics. |
