STONE JAR COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda

Heat molasses and shortening until melted. Add soda (will foam, make sure you have large container). Add other ingredients. May need more flour to make stiff dough. Roll, cut in desired shape. Bake at 375 degrees. Do not brown.
