1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar

2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Add all this to creamed mixture. Add 12-ounce bag chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
