3 eggs
1/2 box brown sugar
1/2 stick butter (melted)
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell

Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

Beat eggs. Add sugar, dash of salt, melted butter, vanilla and pecans. Stir together and pour into pastry shell. Decorate top with pecan halves. Cook at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out cleanly from insertion in center of pie. Cool to serve.
