HUNGRY CHILDREN HASH 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 (No. 2) cans pork and beans
1 lg. onion, sliced
Salt and pepper

Brown beef in frying pan over campfire or hot coals. Add onion. Saute until golden. Add pork and beans, salt and pepper; simmer until all ingredients are well blended. Other seasonings may be used, as desired.
