MILKY WAY® CAKE | |
8 MILKY WAY® bars 2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 1/2 c. sifted flour 1 c. buttermilk 1/2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. grated nuts ICING: 3 MILKY WAY® bars 1 stick butter 1 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Powdered sugar Melt together 8 candy bars, butter. Set aside. Cream 1 stick butter with 2 cups sugar. Add eggs one at a time, add flour and nuts, alternating with buttermilk (to which baking soda and vanilla has been added). Fold in the melted candy mixture. Bake in a greased 9x13 inch cake pan 1 hour at 300 degrees. Frost when cool; place 3 candy bars, butter and sweet milk in a saucepan. Heat until melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla and powdered sugar until spreading consistency. |
