PERSIMMON BREAD 
1 c. persimmon
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts

Mix all ingredients. Pour into loaf pan (greased). Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. Serves 10.
