MEAT BALL PIE 
1 lb. ground meat
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. hot oil

Mix together and shape into approximately 12 meatballs. Brown in hot oil. Remove meatballs and add:

1 (#2) can kidney or pinto beans and liquid
1 (#2) can green beans, DRAINED
1 c. thinly sliced onions
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix well and bring to a boil. Pour into a pie dish or a casserole dish. Put meat balls on top. Lay pastry topping over. Flute edges. Make slits around meatballs.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Serves 6-8.

PASTRY:

1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. cold milk
1 egg

Mix flour and salt. Pour oil and milk into ONE measuring cup. Mix. Press into ball. Flatten slightly. Roll out gently between wax paper. Dampen table top to prevent slipping.

May also use purchased pie crust or your recipe.
